MCBC Oxmas Drinks
As Oxmas approaches and the days shorten there’s no better time to break out the mulled wine and mince pies. Held in Mansfield College at the end of November, it provides an opportunity to reflect on a tough term of training as well celebrate our Novice Crews' efforts at Christchurch Regatta.
Oxford Cambridge Boat Race
Every year a large Mansfield contingent comes down to London to show support for Oxford in the varsity boat race against Cambridge. We usually watch from Putney Bridge by the start line, meeting at the The Duke's Head pub. Always a great opportunity to catch up with old faces!
Mansfield Pimm's Party
What better way to be welcomed back than a cool glass of Pimm’s on a Summer afternoon after a tough Easter vacation of training. Hosted at Longbridges Boathouse it marks the start of the build up to Summer VIII’s, the biggest competition of the year, and is a whole college event not to be missed.
Summer VIII's Dinner
Summer VIII's dinner is held annually in the chapel in Mansfield and celebrates the efforts of our rowers in our Eights campaign as well as rounding off the end of the year for MCBC. We welcome back our alumni from previous years and invite friends and families of the rowers as we look back over the year at the achievements across the club.
